Uncomplicated and laid back, number29 offers a quintessential kiwi getaway. Chase the sun all day long on the wrap-around deck that encircles the home. Take a short walk through native bush and birdlife to the calm waters of Te Miro Bay. In the evening, settle in on the deck or climb into the cedar hot tub and watch the sun sink into Tikapa Moana, the Hauraki Gulf.

Designed by award-winning architect Andre Hodgskin, this ‘bach’ style home’s floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open the entire living space, letting the rich native bush and Church Bay landscape fold around you. Inside, eye-catching design details include Baumann armchairs and vintage ceramics from the Czech Republic, hand-crafted rugs and raku kiln works by New Zealand artist David Austin. Covered open-air dining makes for effortless outdoor living and connects the main house with its private master suite.

An effortless getaway for up to 10 people. The main house has one master bedroom with ensuite, and two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom.

All enjoy access to expansive deck with sea and grove views. The barn provides an additional living area with kitchenette, bathroom, private balcony and sleeping for four people in the open plan loft bedroom.

From $1,160 per night.

Moon Kingdom

A stunning Kings Holiday weekend under the full moon. The best possible place to relax under a giant sky and outlook to the city. Perfect set up for a bunch of friends to go exploring around the coastal walkway, mooch around the vineyards, then the perfect set up for alfresco dining with all the amenities you need to make a feast fit for a king.

A SERENE RETREAT

A carefully considered and curated, unique architectural space, that exudes stylish comfort, beautiful details and locally sourced treats.
Waking up in an olive grove, felt like being in Europe, but sounded and looked like Waiheke, due to bird watching and birdsong all day (and night).
Expansive, ever-changing and show stopping skies and sunsets, living in nature and in the weather elements yet easily accessible, close to civilisation–with unparalleled privacy and seclusion. A setting beyond compare.
